Real-time controller based on FPGA technology for high-performance control loop (up to 5kHz frequency for the indenter with or without VHSRM, and 500kHz with an optional UHS module):

Very high performance multifunction I/O cards (up to 1M samples/s for charge measurement with VHS and UHS); Piezoelectric amplifier from -30 V to 150 V to drive the indentation head; Driver for micropositioning system.

Optional I/O for HTM, UHS and auxiliary (4 /- 10 VDC inputs, 2 strain gauge inputs and 2 /- 10 VDC outputs

STANDARD CONTROLLER (SCO)

Multifunction I/O boards for load and displacement measurements (50k samples/s) and indentation control (100k samples/s); Piezoelectric amplifier from -30 V to 150 V to drive the indentation head; Driver for micropositioning.Laptop hosted controller (200Hz frequency):Optional I/O for high temperature modules
