The software is used in quality control, product development, and production to inspect 3D measurement data captured with structured light scanners, laser scanners, coordinate measuring machines, and other measuring machines. You can import CAD data, create polygon meshes from point clouds, run 3D inspections, and conveniently compile your results into easy-to-understand reports.

The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) have tested the accuracy of GOM Inspect by comparing it to benchmark results.
