With InSight's 3D module, it's possible to visualize the topography of the sample under observation. Height and profile measurements.

Extended Depth of Field (EDF) “Super Depth of Field”, by capturing images with different focus levels and intelligently extracting a fully focused image from the captured images.

Roughness measurement

The DPX F1000 offers non-contact roughness measurement according to the guidelines of ISO 25178-2:2012.

Expanded field of view / Automatic union By including a motorized XY stage on the DPX F1000 digital microscope, the field of view can be significantly expanded.

2D Measurements: DeltaPix Insight software provides a comprehensive suite of powerful measurement tools, available for both manual operation and automated measurement via advanced edge detection.

This improves accuracy while streamlining and optimizing the process. Measurement results and actual dimensions can be saved directly to the captured images or exported to Excel, CSV, or PDF files. Use the included templates to generate hassle-free reports or create custom templates tailored to your specific needs.

In addition, measurements from multiple samples can be consolidated into a single CSV file for easier statistical analysis.

Extended Depth of Field (EDF)

The DeltaPix DPX F1000 digital microscope offers high-resolution images and great depth of field at extraordinary speed.

By capturing images in multiple focal planes and using state-of-the-art algorithms combined with DeltaPix SDM technology, it enables ultra-fast depth-of-field imaging, a true breakthrough in microscopy. This advanced technique extends the standard depth of field of the objective lens and is compatible with stereoscopic microscopes.

The number of images required for each extended focus capture is automatically determined based on the depth of field at a given magnification, ensuring smooth and efficient image processing.

Automatic mosaicking: The DPX F1000 sets a new standard with its wide field of view, offering high resolution and exceptional accuracy.

Equipped with a motorized XY stage with a 100 mm x 100 mm travel, it allows for a wide range of imaging, making it ideal for scanning large samples with microscopic resolution (greater than 0.250 μm in XY and Z). Designed for efficiency, the DPX F1000 simplifies image composition by eliminating complex calculations that the user must perform.

Simply place the platform on two opposite corners of your region of interest using the joystick or keyboard, and the software will take care of the rest, automatically stitching the images together to create a wide, seamless field of view with astonishing microscopic detail.

3D Topography

The DPX F1000 is the ideal digital microscope for 3D surveying, providing high-resolution 3D models of the samples under observation. These 3D models can be displayed in true color or pseudocolor, offering a quick and detailed overview of the surface structure. This functionality allows users to perform precise 3D measurements using various tools, such as height (ΔZ), angle, and radius measurements.

New fully automatic 3D Union panoramic mode with motorized movement on the XYZ axes. Now it's possible to capture every detail of the sample in ultra-high resolution and 3D images up to 16,000 x 16,000 pixels.

Volume analysis

With DeltaPix InSight, measuring volumes in 3D topography is very simple. You can specify the relevant surface using the selection tools and then extract the volume. The volume measurement can be adjusted using the two cutting planes to truncate it.

Surface texture analysis

The DeltaPix DPX F1000 allows you to measure roughness and texture parameters on both 2D profiles and 3D surfaces, in accordance with ISO 4287 and 25178 standards. It can level surfaces and profiles and remove shapes by fitting the data with geometric primitives or a polynomial. Various filtering options can be applied, and the cut angle can be specified. Furthermore, it features advanced data processing functions to remove outliers and fill in missing points. Thanks to these capabilities, third-party applications can be avoided in most surface texture analysis cases. The results can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet.
